Apex Offers Advanced Biological Modeling Service

Apex uses the BioWin™ computer modeling package by EnviroSim Associates for in-house design of wastewater treatment plants. Now for the first time, Apex offers Biowin™ modeling as a contract service to external clients.

“The package is very useful in confirming plant design, particularly for advanced biological treatments such as sequencing batch reactors and membrane bioreactors,” says Managing Director Dr. Matt Savage. “The usefulness of the package, however, is dependent on using the right data in the model and, in cases where the data is unavailable; we use our considerable experience to sufficiently approximate this.”
